Vevo presents: The Maccabees (in the dark)

Designed and Animated by myself with help from James Ballard. Directed by Jamie Roberts and Will Hanke.
Using a combination of Kinect data, Maya and After Effects.

Orion - by Jamie Child and Jack Fletcher

An audio visual installation inspired and created by the constellation Orion and its constituent stars. Data collected through centuries of astronomical observation is used to generate sounds and images which are, in turn, combined with abstract renderings of these distance worlds.

Unnoficial Becks Commercial

This was an UNOFFICIAL Becks Commercial I created over a 3 week Cinematography training Course. I shot, lit, and edited the piece over 3 days, with lighting help from Caroline Teo. The music was supplied by 2.Seconds.Per.Sonar.

Hang

A short film I created in a morning. Directed and shot by myself whilst on Cinematography training. My little homage to Hitchcock.

Bang On Promo

Signed to Big Dada/Ninja Tune. I created the Motion Graphics and Graded the Promo over a four day period on a very low budget. Directed by Jamie Roberts.

MISC advertisment

I created the Misc piece for a Collective of Designers, Musicians, Animators etc. The piece itself works as an introduction to a website (currently under construction) which gives you all the information you need to know about all the Artists involved.

3D Room Experiment

A series of images I created of my flat in Melbourne. I Modelled, textured and lit everything in Maya and rendered using Mental Rays Global Illumination, Caustics and Final Gather.

JLS Visuals

I was asked to create a series of visuals for the JLS Stadium tour. The idea was to have these shown in the interludes of the show. I designed and created everything using a combination of Maya and After Effects. The images above were the Concept Designs.

Monsters Inside Me 2

I was responsible for a lot of the Comping and grading of each shot and the production of 8 parallax shots per episode, taken from photographs. The rest of the team were responsible for the 3D Modelling, Lighting and 3D Animation of these shots.

E4 Sting

Created for the E4 Sting Competition, and also an experiment in style for a big personal Project I plan on starting on soon.

Parallax shots for 'Monsters Inside Me'

A selection of Shots created for the Animal Planet series "Monsters Inside Me" produced by Optomen. I was working for the Visual Effects Company Bandito helping create all the parallax shots, and work on some of the 3D shots.

Ice Age Matte Painting

This is my first attempt at a Matte Painting, so it is just an experimental piece. It was a photo taken from the top of Bristol Suspension bridge. I added the animated elements and Camera pan to try and take the piece a little further.
